This is officially my 5th podcast. No fanfare. Just a reaction to life lately, and especially the events and debates of the past week. While COVID-19 makes life, school, and birthdays more difficult, JK Rowling mouths off at the vulnerable, the President sinks to new lows of hate, and the Supreme Court of the United States recognizes and protects gender identity and sexual orientation in the workplace. And this is a simple but intimate narrative of the life of a COVID-19 single mom.
I consider my average week, and one that steadily bubbled into an atypical one. As Rowling so elegantly pointed out, somewhere out there, is an intelligent conversation to be discussed as adult "woomuds"... and... muthors(?)... And rights that all parents should be able to count on.
