If you've been keeping track, since it has been a while that I've been able to put out an episode, I am releasing both chapters 2 and 3 together. You can listen to both from one of the links below. They feel like they go together as well.
These chapters were hard ones, and relate to traumatic events and difficult circumstances, and then a thoughtful journey, recalling memories of my short 5 years as a questioning adult Jehovah's Witness, the results of having grown up in a fundamentalist cult and truly believing my wants and needs did not matter. If you are triggered easily by difficult topics, this may not be for you. My hope is that not only will my book shed light on the difficult choices and ingrained flaws fundamentalists are faced with, and learn after years in such cults, but how it is still possible to grow.
